Contacts with military authorities regarding what I had seen

When it was about half past nine on Sunday morning, September 16, I contacted the Pentecostal preacher in Edsbyn, Pastor Henning Dahlman, and said to him:

Listen, Dahlman, now I have had a new revelation. It concerns Boden and upper Norrland.— Are you saying that?— Yes.In short terms I described a little to him, I said:— What irritates me most about what I saw is a place called Karlsborg and an island called Vargön. The enemy had an airstrip over Vargön and transported paratroopers, who were dropped over Munksund at Piteå, but who were instantly destroyed by the Swedish defense.— Yes, that was strange, said Dahlman. We looked for a map and imagine our surprise! There was both a Karlsborg and a Vargön up there.— Are you going to make it public? asked Pastor Dahlman.— No, I answered. I feel that the time has not yet come, but, Dahlman, we will not get far into the New Year before you will hear about major espionage in upper Norrland. After the morning meeting I said to Pastor Dahlman:— I have got a definite feeling that I should not have this map for myself; I will immediately hand it over to someone.

Then Pastor Dahlman and I went after the morning meeting and posted the map to one of my friends, manufacturer Eric Jakobsson, in Odensbacken.

On September 17, he received it and showed it to some of his employees. Manufacturer Jakobsson still has the original. In this way it leaked out and about 100 people found out about it. Then the rumor about my revelation spread, so that when I came to the preacher's week in December in Stockholm, Pastor Carl Gyllroth in Boden came to meet me and asked:

— Have you had a new revelation? It is said that you have had a revelation about Boden. — Yes, that is true. We talked for a while. — Do you know if there is an airfield above Karlsborg? — No, he said. I don't know the areas up there so I don't know, but there is a preacher here in the preacher's week who has been up there. We will ask him.

And so we contacted Pastor Herbert Fredriksson, who has been a preacher in Karlsborg, and he said, when I described the harbor:— That is exactly right. Between Karlsborg and Kalix there is an airfield.

Time passed. When I spoke in Östersund on a later occasion on the subject of "Judgment over Sweden", a journalist from one of the city's newspapers came and interviewed me.

— Haven't you had a new revelation?Yes, I said, I have. It concerns the defense of upper Norrland.— May I write about it?— No, I replied, you may not.— May I contact the general who is the military commander here in Östersund and be present when you speak to him?— No, I will contact him, if I want to.

That was a fortnight before, before the Enbom affair broke out. But when the journalist had left, I sat down with Pastor August Brissler and some other brothers and told them my entire revelation in brief.

Pastor Brissler became so interested that he called the general and said:— Now we have Pastor Claesson from Kumla here and he has had a new revelation, which concerns Boden and upper Norrland, and we wonder if the general is interested in taking part in this. Yes, he was interested, and we set a day and time, but he fell ill with a high fever and could not accept it at that time.

It is like accepting a call when you are lying in a high fever. He wondered if I could stay a day longer, but I did not have the time or opportunity, and so that call was inhibited.

Then he sent word through Pastor Brissler that I should get in touch with the military authorities in the area where I lived, which I also did in an invitation meeting, which was held in February.

When I was invited to this big meeting to speak about "Judgment over Sweden", I took the map with me and I said to them:— I will show this map to the responsible military men here tonight. But when the meeting was over, about thirty others rushed forward, wanting to see it. And they got it.

Colonel Mårtensson then said:— I have served for several years in Boden. The other colonel, the commander of I 3 in Örebro, said:— I have also served for a time in Boden. Then I said to Colonel Mårtensson:— Tell me honestly, does this sketch not match the Boden garrison?— Yes, that is precisely what is so strange, that it matches exactly with the conditions up there. And then the other colonel said, as he pointed to a place:— We once had a maneuver up there, do you remember?— Yes, said the other, I remember that very well.— We have a strong espionage system in motion here, I said, and this time I hope, however, that I will be believed. For now you have seen how the last revelation went. Andersson is now arrested, and some of the places that I pointed out on Admiral Ekstrand's map were already sold when I pointed them out, although neither the admiral nor I knew it.— I will tell the pastor, said the colonel, we are doing everything we can to get at spies and saboteurs.— Then you will investigate Morjärv a little more closely, I told him, and you will do that as soon as possible.— Yes, he answered, I will do what I can. Whether he did it, I do not know, but a few days later the security police went up to the Boden garrison. They had Enbom with them. And then one spy after another was exposed.

At the end of this gathering, Colonel Gösta Mårtensson, Örebro, gave a speech. Örebro Dagblad writes about it, among other things: a.: "Although it is beyond human ability to judge the occurrence of a revelation, the strong patriotism that distinguished the lecture had made a strong impression. Without a doubt, one must also note the valuable influence that such a presentation produces.

It is easy to forget to be vigilant and relax under relatively calm and peaceful conditions, but the colonel considered that vigilance was sharpened to a very high degree by a proclamation of this kind. He further emphasized that the defense of our country is now not only a military issue, it is a concern of the entire people as never before. He also emphasized that from a military point of view everything that can be done is being done to curb the activities of saboteurs. Finally, he expressed his thanks to Pastor Claesson for the very interesting and realistic lecture."
